Vaping is a great way to kick the cigarette habit, and is generally thought of as a healthier alternative to smoking
According to the Center on Addiction, “vaping is the act of inhaling and exhaling the aerosol, often referred to as vapor, which is produced by
an e-cigarette or similar device.” Also vaping is the process of inhaling and exhaling the smoke an electronic cigarette produces. Unlike a cigarette,
these electronic devices do not use tobacco. They have a liquid – nicotine（Not all vapes contain nicotine – to produce vapor which the user inhales.

Studies suggest that vaping may be a useful aid to quitting regular cigarettes and many smokers use them as part of their efforts to stop smoking.
In February 2018, the American Cancer Society released a position statement regarding the question of smoking vs. Vaping, You can search and check.
But in my opinion,Smoke and vapor are nothing alike，Smoke is a result of combustion, or fire. On the other hand vapor is the product of vaporization.
Despite the very clear difference between smoking and vaping, the general public tends to see both as equal. But appearances can be deceiving,
With smoking, the user takes a puff on a cigarette and exhales smoke. With vaping, the user puffs on a device, which might look like a cigarette, and then exhales vapor.
For a very long time now, there has been an ongoing debate if the electronic cigarette is harmful or not. Most devices contain the chemical nicotine,
which is highly addictive. It can be deadly for a person suffering from heart diseases. Smoking through these cigarettes is also known to block the arteries.
But some companies that manufacture electronic cigarettes use the chemical formaldehyde useful as a building material.
Antifreeze is also used in these devices which are scientifically proven to cause cancer.
But this is not all that we have to be concerned about. The difference between smoking and vaping is that smoking delivers nicotine by burning tobacco,
which can cause smoking-related illnesses, and vaping can deliver nicotine by heating a liquid in a much less harmful way.
